Mosquito Repellent App for Android
Mosquito Repellent App
Do you know that your Android phone can repel mosquitoes with the help of just an app? This is why they are called Smartphones! When I first heard about this app called ‘Mosquito Repellent’, I didn’t believe and thought that it would just be another fun app to prank your friends. Well, I found out that I was wrong when I decided to download it and try it out. This app worked like a charm! There might be millions of mosquitoes in the area where I live, but not a single mosquito bit me that night. This app truly proved to be a life saver for me. I didn’t even hear a single buzz while this app was running. So, how can a Smartphone app prevent mosquitoes from ruining your time in the garden? Let’s find out!
How ‘Mosquito Repellent’ works?
It’s amazingly simple how this app keeps mosquitoes away from you. When you run the app it starts to emit a very high frequency of around 22 kHz, which is above the range of what humans can here. But, mosquitoes can easily hear this high frequency annoying sound. Scientific studies have proven that mosquitoes hate to be around high frequency sounds. Well, this is basically how the apps work. People have different opinions about this app. Some says that it doesn’t work for them and claim that the app is fake; whereas, others are happy with this app. I worked for me! And, whenever we have late night parties outside, I have this app running! So, you should definitely try out and see if it works for you.
Some Tips for using Mosquito Repellent
1) Make sure that your Smartphone’s speakers are oriented upwards, so that mosquitoes can hear the sound better.
2) There are a couple of frequencies in the apps that you can choose. So, try all of them out to see which one works for you. For me, a frequency of about 21 kHz or 22 kHz works perfect.
