Multiple OEMs launch new laptops with Nvidia GTX 800M Series Graphics

Nvidia’s latest Graphic Solution for Laptops, The GeForce GTX 800M Series

 

After a series of rumors, Nvidia has finally unveiled their new generation of graphic card for laptops; the GeForce GTX 800M series. The top of line are the GeForce GTX 880M and the GeForce GTX 870M; both based on 28nm Kepler microarchitecture. The remaining 5 are the GeForce GTX 860M, GeForce GTX 850M, GeForce GTX 840M, GeForce GTX 830 and lastly the GeForce GTX 820M. The GTX 860M will come in either Maxwell or Kepler architecture depending on the OEM.

Along with that the GeForce experience software has been updated with new drivers and game optimization. New features have also been added like Battery Boost feature; to adjust setting for longer battery, ShadowPlay; to record 5 to 20mins of gameplay and share it to sites like Twitch and YouTube. Similar to Nvidia Shield, video games can be streamed directly from your gaming rig to a TV using your network.

Razer has updated their Razer Blade Pro Notebook with the GeForce GTX 860M based on Maxwell architecture. Along with that it also include a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and higher SSD storage option; 128 GB SD with optional 256/512 GB SSD. Pricing starts at $2,299 at Razerzone.com

Moreover the Razer Blade has also been updated; equipped with a GeForce GTX 870M graphics, 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor, storage options like the Blade Pro, and finally a stunning 3200×1800 IGZO/IPS 14” touchscreen display. Pricing starts at $2,199 at Razerzone.com

MSI

MSI’s lineup of GT Dominator and GE Apache gaming laptops have been updated with the latest GPU solutions from Nvidia, including the GTX GeForce 880M. Both the GT Dominator and GT Apache are capable of 4k output as well support for multiple monitors.

Asus

Just like MSI and Razer, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) have also announced new models in their G750 Gaming Notebook line-up equipped Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 800M series. They are the G750JZ (GTX 880M), G750JM (GTX 870M) and the G750JS (GTX 860M Maxwell model). Pricing and availability not yet announced.

Origin PC have announced their EON13-S, EON15-S, EON17-S and EON17-SLX laptops, all equipped with the GeForce GTX 800M series graphics, with optional resolutions of up-to 3200×1800.
Pricing starts at $1,399.

CyberPower PC

CyberPower PC has also jumped on the GeForce GTX 800M bandwagon with their new line of FANGbook EVO HX7 gaming notebooks with the 4th Generation Core i7 Processor.
Pricing starts at $1499.
